Own Design

This quilt was made for my granddaughter Maya. Her parents love the outdoors, hiking, and camping. This joy will be shared with their daughter. I designed this quilt using a panel; it was machine quilted by R. Walker.
I made this quilt using squares from the Quilter’s Trek 2020. As I finished the squares and put them on my quilt board, my daughter that doesn’t sew said, “That is going to be one ugly quilt”. When she realized
I designed this quilt for my husband to use the beautiful, vibrant batik fabrics that he loves.
My sister-in-law loves purple. She is a cancer survivor who receives IGF treatments on a regular basis. I made this quilt for her to cuddle under during her treatments.
