Core of the Pandemic
This apple core quilt was pieced on one of my Featherweight machines. For the back I used a piece of wide backing left from another project, enlarged with a couple strips. I used Quilters Dream Puff batting and a varigated raspberry thread to quilt it on my longarm. I left the outer curves intact and bound them with raspberry bias. Hand basting the binding in place made for a nice finished project. My husband chose the name. The quilt finished 72 x 54 and is a grateful size for a throw. This project was a real skill builder for me.
